The Missouri Sheriffs' Association Training Academy (MSATA) plays a vital role in the training and education of law enforcement and emergency services professionals statewide.
As a full-service, state-licensed training academy, the MSATA offers basic peace officer training, continuing education and grant-funded training through a variety of training options including classroom presentations and online distance learning. The MSATA has trained over 31,000 Missouri peace officers in the past four years and again ranked number one in the state as to total numbers of basic academy graduates per year for the 4th year in a row. The vast majority of these graduates are officers employed by local agencies either at the county or municipal level. These men and women are protecting your community 24/7/365.
From report writing to arrest procedures, intake booking to inmate supervision, fundamentals of survival stress to active school shooter response, the professional staff of the MSATA is training Missouri.
