Course Description
This course will address the formal functions of supervision. Planning, Reporting, Improving, Directing, Evaluating (PRIDE)
It is no secret that many, if not most, people leave their job because of poor supervision. Thus, other topics will address “informal” functions of supervision that address human relations concepts and skills to include; leadership, motivational principles and supervisor/subordinate relationships.
This training qualifies for thirty-six (36) hours of Missouri POST Continuing Law Enforcement Education training through the Missouri Sheriffs’ Association Training Academy, a POST-approved continuing education provider.
The class may be cancelled if attendance is not sufficient.
