SUMMARY:2025 Sheriffs' Summer Training Conference & EXPO
DESCRIPTION:Dear Attendee\, \nWe are pleased to invite you to the 80th Summer Training Conference & Expo\, taking place at Margaritaville Lake Resort in Osage Beach\, Missouri. This special event marks MSA’s 80th anniversary\, and we are excited to celebrate it with each of you! \nThe conference will kick off with our 5th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Sunday\, August 10. We encourage you to get your vendors involved by sponsoring a team—proceeds benefit the Sheriffs’ Employee Children’s Scholarship Fund. Following the tournament\, join us for a Welcome Reception from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Chill Bar in the hotel lobby. \nThe Business Meeting will take place on Monday\, August 11\, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM in Paradise A. After the meeting\, enjoy lunch with our vendors in the exhibit hall from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Exhibits will be open from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM\, with a vendor drawing between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Don’t forget to take advantage of the vendor passport program—their support is vital to our organization. \n \nThis year\, we’re excited to host two evening events: \n• On Monday\, August 11\, PeaceMakers will sponsor a special event featuring Steve Murphy and Javier Peña\, sharing their story of bringing down Pablo Escobar and the Medellín Cartel. Watch your mailbox for an invitation. \n• On Tuesday night\, we’ll commemorate MSA’s 80th anniversary with a celebration of dinner and dancing\, featuring live music from Soul Root. We’ll also host our annual auction\, with all proceeds going to the Sheriff Benevolent Fund. Please bring an item to donate—our fundraising goal this year is $13\,000. \nPlease complete your registration form in full or register online at mosheriffs.com.
