DESCRIPTION:*Class Size is Highly Limited – Reserve a Seat Today* \nWednesday\, November 8\, 2023\n8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. \nOfficers carry a variety of tools while on duty\, and they receive training on most of those tools. Officers are taught how to shoot a gun\, drive a car\, and write a report on a computer\, but officers do not generally receive training on carrying a knife. The knife is another tool routinely carried by officers and it can be a deadly weapon. \nOfficers MUST know how to carry a knife\, how and when it can be used as a weapon\, how to draw and use the knife to protect themselves\, and their duty firearm. An edged weapon can be an effective weapon retention tool.
