This 14-hour course is designed to help these qualified and experienced professionals provide meaningful emotional support\, spiritual support\, and pastoral care to all who have been affected. \nTOPICS INCLUDE\n• The Chaplain and the Law\n• Death Notifications\n• Three Tier Ministry in the sheriff’s office\n• The Jail Chaplin\n• The Law Enforcement Chaplain\n• Basics of Grief counseling \nWHO SHOULD ATTEND?\n• Current and Aspiring Law Enforcement Chaplains: Enhance your skills and understanding of your crucial role in supporting law enforcement personnel and their families.\n• Law Enforcement Officers and Administrators: Learn how chaplaincy programs can benefit your agency\, improve officer well-being\, and support community relations.\n• Jail and Correctional Facility Staff: Discover how chaplains can positively impact inmate rehabilitation and provide essential support within correctional settings.\n• Clergy and Pastoral Care Providers: Expand your ministry by understanding the unique challenges and needs of law enforcement and correctional environments. \nDon’t miss this opportunity to expand your skills and make a positive impact within your community.
