The Missouri Crisis Intervention Team (MO CIT) Council is dedicated to promoting the understanding, development, and implementation of CIT programs across the state. CIT fosters collaborative partnerships among law enforcement, mental health professionals, individuals with behavioral health needs, their families, and the broader community. These partnerships lead to safer, more effective crisis responses, reduce stigma, and improve outcomes.
