Prospective candidates will be proficient with automotive related hand tools and will maintain a clean and safe workspace. Proper use of PPE and safe operation of shop equipment including 2-post & 4-post vehicle lifts, jacks & jack stands, pneumatic tools & power tools including drills, impacts, grinders, cutting tools, etc. The position will also include operation of tire machine & wheel balancer, diagnostics via bidirectional OBDII scan tool, TPMS system component diagnostics & repairs, patching tires, etc.; experience in these areas is preferred but not necessarily required if willingness to learn in these areas is possessed by the applicant.
The position will also involve assisting in the upfitting of new patrol cars, maintaining & repairing patrol cars, etc. This includes removing door panels, headliners, and other interior panels & components, ability to install aftermarket components such as consoles, bumpers, etc. Professional experience with installation of aftermarket DC electrical system components & the ability to accurately diagnose & repair issues in these areas is a plus- but not required. Ability to read and follow installation instructions as well as taking and accurately following directions is a must.

Detention Officer
This is a civilian entry level position in our Detention Center.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
Current shift assignments are as follows 7am – 7pm or 7pm – 7am. Must be able to work any shift assigned.
Responsible for patrolling and supervising inmates inside the detention center, conducting periodic counts, searching inmates, intervening during emergencies and escorting/transporting inmates.
Previous military experience or corrections/security background preferred.
Civilian career advancement available to include Armed Detention Officer, Field Training Officer, and Detention Sergeant.
