Information about the ARPA 2023 Next Generation 911 (NG911) Funding Opportunity

The Board will accept and review applications on a rolling basis between September 1, 2023, and September 1, 2024, until all funds have been obligated. Per ARPA requirements, funds must be obligated by December 31, 2024, and expended by June 30, 2026. The Board will be awarding up to $21 million in NG911 improvement projects over the next year.

Projects in this grant round are limited to those that support NG911 and will be subject to ARPA billing and auditing requirements. Please note, that this grant cycle will not include GIS services. There will be a separate grant process related to GIS-specific projects. More information about that project can be found on the Board’s grant webpage.
