MSA Online Learning Management System – Individual Subscription

The Missouri Sheriffs’ Association (MSA) is now offering an individual subscription service for our Online Learning Management System (LMS). The MSA LMS Individual Subscription guarantees the subscriber the ability to complete all of their POST required annual CLEE training with the exception of the 2-hour Skill Development/Firearms training requirement. There are currently over 100 courses available to choose from.

This program is POST Approved to meet the requirements necessary for licensing as a POST Generalist Instructor, and Specialist Instructor.

Throughout history managing inmate behavior has been a goal of administrators and it is now more important than ever. A key aspect of any inmate behavior management plan is inmate classification. This presentation begins by defining classification and discussing standards for evaluating classification assessment tools. It covers core distinguishing features of an objective classification system, aspects of system validity and reliability, along with the need for appropriate override within the system. It concludes with a tabletop where participants work through an actual classification exercise.
