MSA Online Learning Management System – Individual Subscription

The Missouri Sheriffs’ Association (MSA) is now offering an individual subscription service for our Online Learning Management System (LMS). The MSA LMS Individual Subscription guarantees the subscriber the ability to complete all of their POST required annual CLEE training with the exception of the 2-hour Skill Development/Firearms training requirement. There are currently over 100 courses available to choose from.

48-Hour Jail Officer Academy, Dent County

It focuses on developing knowledge and skills to better equip an individual for maintaining the safety and security of a facility, as they ensure the incarcerated individuals’ needs are met in a humane and legal manner. OC Pepper Spray Instructor Course & Re-Certification, Jefferson City

This 8-hour Instructor Course allows successful graduates to teach end-users to properly deploy OC and to properly care for those exposed to the product. In addition to covering how to deploy pepper spray, this course stresses under what circumstances pepper spray may be appropriately used as a force option, decontamination procedures, and the need to closely monitor individuals for adverse medical effects after exposure.

Defensive Driving Instructor Course, Jefferson City

This course is designed to train and qualify the students to teach the 24-hour driver training requirements in the 700-hour Basic Academy Curriculum. Students will also be qualified to teach the 8-hour CLEE class available to commissioned Missouri Peace Officers.

This online course begins with a discussion of changes made to Missouri Revised Statutes by the various House and Senate Bills and Resolutions that came out of the 102nd Legislative General Session, First Regular Session 2023 and were signed by the Governor. The course finishes with a discussion on recent court decisions and holdings from the Missouri Supreme Court, U.S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Missouri Appellant Courts during the 2021 to 2023 term (October 2022 through July 2023).
