We are pleased to invite you to the 79th MSA Summer Training Conference & Expo, taking place at Margaritaville Lake Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri. This year’s event promises to be exceptional, featuring keynote speaker Michael Laidler, bestselling author of “Greatness Beyond the Badge.”
The conference will kick off with a Golf Tournament and Welcome Reception on Sunday, August 11th. The golf day is sponsored by vendors and is free for all conference attendees.
Exhibitor Day will be August 12th following the business meeting. The exhibitor appreciation lunch will be in the exhibit hall from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Exhibitor drawings will be held between 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Please take the time to visit our exhibitors; their support is integral to our organization.
Please bring an item or two for the live auction on Tuesday, August 13th. The auctioneers are our own Sheriff Brad Cole and Sheriff Doug Rader. Dinner will be at 6:00 pm followed by the auction at 7:00 pm. The evening will continue with live music by Soul Root from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm, along with cornhole and poker tables for your enjoyment.
Our Awards Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, August 14th. Don’t forget to submit your nominations for Deputy of the Year, Reserve Deputy of the Year, and Citizen of the Year by July 20th.
On August 14th, join us for dinner at 6:00 pm, followed by entertainment featuring Missouri’s own comedian, Chad Thornsberry, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Concluding the evening from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm is a captivating presentation by “Johnny Walker” and retired Navy SEAL Command Master Chief Jason Tuschen. Operating under the code name “Johnny Walker,” Johnny is renowned for his role in saving numerous American lives, particularly Navy SEALs, during his service in Iraq.
