The Missouri Sheriffs’ Association proudly presents a comprehensive Use-of-Force Instructor Course designed to develop expert-level instructors for law enforcement and corrections agencies. In today’s rapidly evolving legal and societal landscape, agencies must ensure their trainers are equipped with the legal knowledge, instructional strategies, and practical experience necessary to lead effective, ethical, and defensible use-of-force training.
This course is built to help instructors not only understand what force can be used, but more importantly, why, when, and how force should be applied within constitutional, legal, and ethical parameters.
