There is more to delivering meaningful instruction than just getting up and talking in front of a group. Teaching techniques or procedures that fall below the standard of a specific industry or negligently drafting an employee training manual or employee training guide that fails to properly train employees for the tasks in which they will be working can lead to unwanted liability. Not only must training material be well thought out, researched, and designed, it must also be properly delivered in the classroom or through an e-learning platform.
This course is designed to provide the student the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the formal functions of supervision to include planning, reporting, improving, directing, and evaluating (PRIDE).
This 4-hour course begins with the history of OC Pepper spray use and moves onto health effects including impact on human eyes and the respiratory system. It covers in-custody deaths, and the role pepper spray may or may not have played.

This 48-hour course is designed to prepare the participant for working in a jail or detention center. It focuses on developing knowledge and skills to better equip an individual for maintaining the safety and security of a facility, as they ensure the incarcerated individuals’ needs are met in a humane and legal manner. It is a MUST for individuals just beginning a career working in a jail and a friendly refresher for those who have been working in a jail for some time.
Firearms instructors take your skills and abilities to a new level. The addition of the semiautomatic rifle has increased the effectiveness of the patrol officer, but it also offers challenges to the trainer. This course is a POST approved course required to obtain a patrol rifle specialist instructor license. This two-day course is mentally and physically demanding, so participants must be in good physical condition. Both days will run longer than the minimum of eight (8) hours with low light shoot.
